Policies

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings and stays at Perth City Motel (“the Motel”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking a room or staying at the Motel, you (“Guest”, “you”, or “your”) agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Bookings & Reservations

• All bookings are subject to availability.
• A valid credit/debit card is required to secure a booking.
• Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation.

2. Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in: From 1:00 PM
• Check-out: By 10:00 AM
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability; additional fees may apply.
• Late check-out beyond 12:00 PM may incur a charge equivalent to one night’s stay.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

• Standard Bookings:
  • Free cancellation up to 4 days before check-in (2:00 PM on the day prior to arrival).
  • Cancellations made less than 4 days before arrival, or no-shows, will incur a fee equal to one night’s stay.
• Non-Refundable Rates:
  • No refunds or date changes allowed.

4. Pricing & Payments

• All rates are in AUD and include GST unless otherwise stated.
• Full payment is required at check-in.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, and EFTPOS.
• A valid photo ID and credit/debit card pre-authorisation may be required upon check-in.

5. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit of AUD $100 may be required at check-in to cover incidental charges or damages.
• Deposits are returned upon check-out, subject to inspection of the room.

6. Guest Conduct

• Guests must:
  • Keep noise to a minimum, especially after 9:00 PM.
  • Refrain from engaging in illegal, disruptive, or aggressive behaviour.
  • Not exceed the maximum number of occupants for the room.
  • Respect other guests and motel staff at all times.
  • Failure to comply may result in eviction without refund.

7. Smoking Policy

• All rooms are non-smoking.
• A $200 cleaning fee will apply if smoking is detected in rooms.

8. Alcohol, Drugs & Parties

• No parties or unregistered guests are allowed.
• The use of illegal drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
• Excessive noise, rowdy behaviour, or gatherings will not be tolerated.

9. Pets

• Pets are not permitted, with the exception of certified assistance animals (documentation must be provided).

10. Damage, Loss & Theft

• Guests are liable for any damage caused to motel property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay.
• Lost keys will incur a replacement charge of AUD $100.
• Perth City Motel is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. Please use the in-room safe where provided.

11. Housekeeping

• Rooms are serviced daily.
• For environmental reasons, towels and linen are replaced every 3 days unless otherwise requested.

12. Parking

• Complimentary parking is available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The motel is not liable for any damage or theft involving vehicles on the property.

13. Force Majeure

• Perth City Motel is not liable for events beyond our control (natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions, etc.) that may impact your booking. In such cases, we will offer a refund or alternate dates.

14. Privacy Policy

• We collect and use guest information in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law. See our [Privacy Policy] for more details.

15. Right to Refuse or Cancel

• We reserve the right to:
  • Refuse accommodation to any guest at our discretion.
  • Cancel or modify reservations where guests have breached these Terms or where false or misleading information was provided during booking.

16. Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

The main gate will be closed at 11:30 pm, and late arrivals will need to inform us at booking@perthcitymotel.com.au
